Neck Pain and Dizziness

Neck Pain & Headaches

Why do I feel dizzy?

Neck pain and dizziness may occur together with dizziness being more noticeable and concerning. For some experiencing neck pain, dizziness may only present when the pain worsens during a flare-up.

Dizziness has many possible causes, including inner ear disturbance, motion sickness, and medication effects. Sometimes it is caused by an underlying health condition, such as poor circulation, infection, or injury. The way dizziness makes you feel, and your triggers provide clues for possible causes. -Mayo Clinic

Dizziness and Balance Statistics

Dizziness and balance disorders are among the most common complaints to primary care physicians and in emergency rooms. Falls are the number one complaint in the elderly population with over 300,000 people hospitalized for hip fractures each year. Statistics show that 25% of these injured seniors die from within a year of the fracture taking place. The statistics are only going to grow larger with baby boomers growing older.

Dizziness PREVENTION is FYZICAL’s #1 Goal

We want nothing more than to help you break down the physical barriers that prevent you from living your life the way you envision. Our clinicians go through rigorous training to become Certified Level I, Level II, and Level III Balance Specialists. This training takes months to complete, and it allows our team to quickly find the cause of the symptoms and reduce or eliminate them permanently.
